Chaos Veras 5.2 with GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5
Chaos Veras 5.2 is now capable of converting AI images into fully editable geometry for SketchUp, Rhino and Revit.
Chaos has taken another major step forward in AI-driven model generation. With the release of Chaos Veras 5.2, the way architects and designers work with AI is changing radically: AI images no longer end at a static visualization or reusable 3D assets, they can now be converted into fully editable 3D geometry for Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp.
Key Features & Updates
New Agent Mode: GPT-6 Astra & Claude Opus 5.5
Users can upload up to 12 reference images (such as sketches, photos, or renders). The AI agent (GPT-6 Astra or Claude Opus 5.5) analyzes them step by step and constructs a structured 3D model, complete with walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and furniture. If the AI has to make assumptions for ambiguous areas, Veras flags them with a ? inside the model.
This provides a jump-start to the design workflow by prepping a high-quality baseline model ready for rapid iteration.
Direct ‘Bake’ to CAD/BIM (Native Geometry)
Via the BAKE function, the generated model is written directly into your CAD/BIM environment. No export or conversion hassle required:
- SketchUp: Organized and fully editable groups.
- Revit: True, native Revit elements (walls, floors, openings).
- Rhino: Fully editable NURBS geometry.
Chaos Cosmos Content Integration
AI agents automatically draw assets and materials from the Chaos Cosmos library for realistic spatial furnishing and material finishes.

Also in Version 5.2
- Material Generator: Find or generate materials via Chaos Cloud Material Gen and “bake” them directly into your CAD environment.
- Proxy Bake: Keep your CAD model lightweight by loading proxy geometry while Veras/Enscape preserves full geometric detail for visualization.
- Walk-through 3D View: Explore the model in first-person perspective using standard keyboard controls, just like in a game.
