Chaos has released the latest update for V-Ray – version 7 update 2 – for SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit. With various AI features, night skies, and more, you can take your visualization workflow to the next level.
AI makes hard work a piece of cake
Every AI feature in V-Ray has been developed with the user in mind. The new AI features integrate seamlessly into your workflow and enhance your creativity without interrupting it. For example, with the AI Enhancer (beta – part of Chaos Cloud Collaboration), you can add realistic details to people, vegetation, and terrain without having to re-render. Advanced Controls let you refine properties such as age, clothing style, and vegetation type. The AI Upscaler (beta) quickly converts low-resolution renders into high-quality images, and the AI Material Generator (beta) creates complete PBR materials based on real photos directly in Cosmos.
Night Skies
V-Ray’s new Night Sky feature brings a touch of astronomy to your workflow. This tool simulates the moon, stars, and even the Milky Way based on your actual location, date, and time, with accurate lighting, positions, and moon phases. These celestial objects are not just decorative, but actively contribute to the overall lighting, giving night time renders more depth and atmosphere.
Share your work via Cloud Streaming
With Chaos Cloud 3D Streaming (beta), you can share and explore projects directly online—without heavy files or complicated settings. Upload your scene, share a simple link, and let clients or colleagues view the model in real time on any device. They can navigate freely, post comments, and add pins, making feedback sessions more visual, interactive, and efficient than ever before.
