  • Wet effects – Wetting, puddles, animated ripples, wobble and static surface drops.
  • Veras – Support for Chaos Veras from the Vantage viewport.
  • Anima – Functionality to load scenes from Chaos Anima projects in Vantage
  • Gaussian splats – Support for Gaussian splat relighting.
  • Materials
    • Implemented a material node editor (Beta).
    • Support for the Hair material in V-Ray for SketchUp and Rhino.
    • Support for bump mapping from procedural or procedurally modified textures.
    • Support for the VRayParallax texture.
    • Support for the auto_meter_scale parameter in PhxShaderOceanTex.
  • DLSS – Implemented DLSS Frame Generation with 2x up to 4x generated frames. Note that performance is scene dependent and FPS boost may not match 2x,3x,4x label.
  • Fluid simulator
    • A new “Cache” mode, providing playback features like the ones in the Volume Grid object.
    • An option for negative start time.
    • A new “Vortices scale” option in the “Dynamics” tab.
    • New shape type options – mesh, plane and circle – for bodies interacting in the simulation.
    • Support for handling rotational motion of bodies.
  • Toon – Implemented include/exclude objects for Toon outlines.
  • Lights – Support for the V-Ray LightCylinder.
  • Scatter – Support for scatters using the Scatter cluster painting mode in V-Ray for SketchUp and Rhino.
  • Color corrections – Implemented a Color mixer color correction.
  • Live Link – Property values edited in Vantage (e.g. environment texture file) are now preserved when the same property is updated by a Live Link update.
  • Command line – Support for starting rendering images and animations from the command line.
  • UI/UX
    • Implemented Show all, Show enabled and Show disabled filter options in the Light Lister.
    • Implemented a search filter in drop-down menus and clickable labels.
    • Implemented a display scene unit control for properties.
    • Implemented an Eyedropper tool in the Color swatch.
