With SOLIDWORKS Professional and Premium you can use photorealistic rendering to generate images that are almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Useful for presenting designs in brochures, presentations and websites, for example. Here you can apply realistic materials and textures (such as wood, metal or plastic) to your 3D model and light it appropriately (studio light, ambient light or HDRI.

Develop

Generate files that can be used directly by 3D printer and control CNC machines with the convenient NC programming functions in the software.

Simulation

In SOLIDWORKS Premium, you get access to several simulation functions. For example, you can perform finite element analysis (FEA) to test the stress, deformation and displacement of parts and assemblies under certain forces.
